Urgent help(about domain switch) needed

I've a blog which has a good no. of articles, Alexa Rank, PR, backlinks. But, I'm not happy with the domain name. So, I want to buy a new domain in name.com and use it for the previous domain without loosing PR, Alexa and backlinks. How can I do it????

hmmm it's difficult to maintain Alexa Rankings(you might get that back as well). You can gain back the PR and backlinks provided you keep both the domains.

You will have to switch to the new Domain, and then redirect all pages on your old domain to the corresponding pages on the new domain. This means you will have to self host your old domain on some web hosting account to do the one on one redirect. You are most likely to get back the PR on the next PR update(provided you do one on one 301 redirects). In webmaster tools there is option to notify Google Of Site Change.You will essentially have to maintain both of the domains and hosting is going to cost you money
