pop-out with grayed out background

    I've searched google and a lot of forums about this but i haven't found anything on how to implement something like this in Blogger.
    It's basically a pop-out window that doesn't create a new window in your browser, but rather is overlayed over the blog, with the background grayed out.

    An example would be like like http://www.bloggerplugins.org/2009/09/numbered-page-navigation-for-blogger.html when you click the "Add to blogger" button above the heading "The Complex Method. :P"

    I would like to customise the pop-out page as well. Is there any code which does this?

    yes you can surely use something like that.. but you will need to customize the codes..

    you can use facebox or lytebox.. Search for these with google and you will get what you need. The widget installer that you mentioned uses lytebox and the current contact and submit buttons use facebox

    Thanks a lot for the quick reply! Yes lytebox/facebox is exactly what i need. For e.g. if i'm using lytebox, do I need to host all the .css, .js and image files somewhere and link to them from my blogger template? Or do they have hosts that I could use already?

    you will have to upload.. using some free hosting. The css and js use relative paths.So you have to upload things like it is in the zip file(preserve the hierarchy.)
