I'm a bit of a newb and was trying to (carefully) tweak my layout in the html editor. I was making and checking minor tweaks and somewhere along the way I have messed up the post padding/margin/position setting.
It is most noticeable when I log into edit page layout 'elements' and the interface is offset to the right with a big gap to the left.
If I go into template designer and select advanced > post the area that gets highlighted in red dots extends far left off the screen, overlapping the left column and off the side of the blog. The blog looks fine but I worry if on some browsers it is causing problems.
Any idea which part of the html I need to correct. It's likely to be a pixel margin or padding setting as these are what I've been tweaking. OR a width setting.
